[Chrysler300] Still won't run - '65 300 carb problem cont.....

Thanks to all who responded last week with regards to my fuel delivery
problem on my 300. Unfortunately, I've had no success in getting the car to
continue running after burning off the initial prime.

I have replaced the fuel pump and have adequate fuel pressure. The needle
and seats are funtioning properly, I've rechecked the float level and float
drop as well as all other adjustments, blown out all passages, and tried
filling the bowl manually to ensure it isn't a fuel delivery or bowl level
problem. Still, the car fires up when primed manually or by pumping the
accelerator then runs out of fuel immediately. If I supply a steady drip of
fuel manually into the carb it will remain running but as soon as that
supply is dicontinued, the engine dies. Vacuum seems good, the engine runs
smooth for the short time it runs.

Before I have the carb looked at by a professional, does anyone have any
idea what might be the problem? Remember, this carb was functioning well
prior to rebuilding this engine along with the carb. Also, it seemed to be
working well when I broke in the cam. Now, without touching anything, there
is a problem. I'm really getting frustrated, I know it's something simple
I've overlooked.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks to all in advance.
