[Chrysler300] Speakers

Hi, Club,

I have a K with am/fm, reverb radio, and no speakers.  I remember a long time 
ago someone telling me that the old radios couldn't operate the modern 
speakers.  Too much resistance?  Supposedly, the old radio would burn out, unless an 
amplifier was used.  True?  Is it possible to find a pair of ordinary 6x9 
speakers that are safe to use with the old stock radio?
