The only place I was aware of (at the time) that made the exhaust
pipes for my Brute was Eileen Brass. I ordered a set from her. The
installation was marked by only very, very minor adjustments
required of the installer. However, on driving it a decided rattle
was present at times under accleration.
The cause was the left-hand exhaust pipe being too close to the
torsion bar assembly -- about 1/4" or less clearance. A simple
adjustmenet to that area of the exhaust pipe, and everything was
fine.

There are many applications (new and old) that need very special tweaks for
clearancing. The left torsion bar area on a '65 is one I know about
personally. Some of these necessary tweaks are impossible to make without
special tooling. Custom shops of even the highest calibre will, therefore,
have difficulty dealing with many of these areas.
Can be done; experience, time, machinery and materials.
