[Chrysler300] Back to a fuel question!!!

Good Evening All:

Some time back, I heard someone mention (I think) that you can add Acetone to 
Petrol for Octane boost.  If I am not mistaken, the mixture is something like 
6 ounces of Acetone to every gallon of petrol.  Am I halucinating or is this 
correct.  Any and all comments are appreciated.
