[Chrysler300] halogen lights

Hello group - just a word of warning, my G has had some electrical problems.  I delivered it to Timo Taskanen in Riverside, CA to check it out.  He called and asked if I had put the halogen headlamps in the car, I told him no, a prior owner did.  He said that the power the headlamps demanded was too much load for the wiring, and fried some wires under the dash!  He also said that someone had installed a new alternator, too much amperage, which made the problem worse.  He has pulled the entire harness under the dash and is checking it out and repairing damage, along with replacing the alternator with a more contemporary one.  The halogens may be brighter and better for night driving, but watch out under the dash!
