J/K owners, please help

Hi,

I have removed the wiring under the hood of my ram K, and would like to get 
new battery cables and new insulation for the starter cable. It looks like the 
positive battery cable and the starter cable are one wire, with a bare spot 
where a relay (?) is clamped to it. Is this correct? If I get new battery 
cables, would the starter cable be a part of it? Would it also come with new 
insulation? Sorry, but I know very little about things electrical.
