California trip

Hello everybody
greetings from Italy
Am going to leave for Los Angeles area in a week or so, and would like to visit some junkyards and Mopar specialists. Anyone worth visiting?
I am also looking for someone who has mounted an aftermarket a/c system on his F or G. 
There is Newport wagon on E bay right now that has the same system that I want to use, from Classic Air in Texas. Anyone has ever mounted one on his car? I want to keep modifications to a minimun, but having no air is becoming a real problem, as I doin't enjoy the car anymore.
