Greetings Group and Pete- My experience with 99% of Chrysler parts has been numbers cast into a part RARELY are the same as the factory part number, many times they are very close but not the same. The numbers cast in generally are just a casting number (such as on cylinder heads, intake and exhaust manifolds), I have never seen any explanation as to why they are not the same numbers.
