I tried to find the oval air filters and several air filters were supposed to be for the car and weren't. I worked for the insurance agency that insured K & N Filters. When I had difficulty finding the oval air filters for my '62 (with dual inline fours), I contacted K & N to see if they had filters that fit. I measured and measured and couldn't get a good fit. Finally out of desperation, I sent them my cans and they custom fit the air filters. They are actually round filters that bend a bit to an oval shape when put in the cans. I have been running them for 50,000 miles and they work beautifully. They are readily available at pretty much any auto parts store. Because K & N are filters that you clean and oil they should never need to be replaced, so they are a long term solution. Pse contact Gary@xxxx for pricing and further details. I can't remember the exact price but I think he told me around twenty some dollars each. My understanding is that the normal supply of these is pretty well non existent so this is good news so please give Gary some support with some of his projects and place your orders.
