300F dash lights

Dear all,
What a great club! As a result of my inquiry about the reasons for my
dark dashboard, I now have (courtesy of Mark, Bruce, Joe, Ken, Richard,
Mike, Deana, and John) enough diagnostic work to keep me busy for two
weeks! Apparently I need to check everything except the spare tire
pressure, and that couldn't hurt either. Seriously, many thanks for all
the help, and I'll report on the results shortly. Incidentally, Memo to
John: The tranny buttons work fine, and I'll check the heater controls.
The lights have been out since I got the car about nine months ago; I
assumed it was the power pack and replaced that, but no cigar. Thanks
