Re: [Chrysler300] '60 radio delete plate



Isn't there a process now where gold plating can literally be put on by
brush with and electrode setup. Doing this to the raised lettering would be
a snap. Saw a vendor at a show few years back who would do this to parts
you provided.

After the entire part is chromed, the mask is applied over all areas that
are not to become gold and then dipped in the gold tank. This was done with
the forwardlook emblems on the '57 DeSoto Adventurer for example.
