Dash Pad from Just Dashes

Good Afternoon,

I just received my repo 1961 dash pad from Just Dashes. I have 2
issues. It is missing the front metal twist tabs and the embossed detail
is very weak in my opinion.

I called them and was told I didn't need the metal tabs to hold the
dash in place. I could use Liquid Nails and put weight on it.

Has anyone out there done this?

Next, the verticle pattern that runs from left to right is very weak. I
have looked at the 2 original pads that I have and they show much more
detail. The one I received looks like the details would go away if it
sits in the sun too long. I remember looking at several of the cars in
the club that have had a replacement pad from Just dashes and I thought
they had looked great. I guess I'll have to check them out closer this
week.

When I asked Just Dashes about the lack of detail, they said they
couldn't do it as well as the factory could and I should be happy with
it. I guess I fealt as though $644 ought to buy something closer to what
came on the car.

What have your experiences been?

Best regards,

Richard Osborne
