Hi guys,

The problem with that is it will be difficult to find
anybody that has a full mixing bank of laquer bases
and tints. I used to supply a shop in Maine that
specialized in Dusenbergs, Packards and the like with
R-M (BASF)laquer. Recently it was getting more and
more difficult to get the necessary tints for exacting
color matches. BASF is relatively big in it because
they're a European company. American companies like
DuPont, SW or PPG don't bother very much with it - if
they sell it at all. 


One man's opinion, I'd look for it in a good quality
single stage acrylic urethane and make life a lot
simpler. Durability and gloss retention is far
superior so there won't be as much of a need for touch
ups.
