Yes happy holidays everyone! Andy is right. My G has the heater hose routes at where he stated it to be at his #2 explanation, by pass. side (right) inner fender and I believe there was a bracket there (at leaste I had one but forgetful machanics in the past when rebuilding my carbs lost it). I will do some research and find out if my "once-was" heater hose bracket was from factory or not then give you all a shout back. 300ly, Brandt H. Jimerson at brandt300g@xxxxxxxxx . The cars with all rubber hoses either have both hoses running over the center of the engine, usually with a bracket/hanger on the coil mount (2). The others run the one hose that comes off the heater valve (pass side) to the right inner fender (bracket here?) around the right carb area, then behind the alternator to the water jacket (3). Running it under the carb sounds like a bad idea, because it will put the hose close to the exhaust heat tubes. Andy __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
