Like with the front brakes, there will be not a slot, but a 7/16" hex bolt. Grab a ratchet, or wrench, and tighten or loosen away while spinning the tire! (Note: The front backing plates have a hex bolt for each of the two shoes, per wheel, where the rear backing plates only have one hex bolt to adjust both shoes at once per wheel) -----Original Message----- From: gccopper [mailto:gccopper@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Saturday, November 27, 2004 5:03 PM To: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [Chrysler300] 62 Chrysler 300 rear brakes Does anyone know how to adjust the rear brakes of a 1962 Chrysler 300, there is no adjusting slot?
