Checking with the host hotel this am:  They are running out of "non-smoking" 
rooms and will have to make extra effort to airout the others prior to our 
corporate takeover of the Viking in August.  Also, the 800 288 4083 number is a 
temporary delay possibility for a brief period so you may want to use the 
direct line number of 530 541 5155 or use email which goes only to Jennifer, the GM 
(pardon the expression!) of the place.  You can give her your credit card 
number on the email for the reservation deposit.but be sure and ask for a return 
email with confirmation of your request.  Occupancy rate is now 44.1 percent.
