Val, What do you mean by "a wimpy noise"? When you turn the key to start, does the starter actually energize, but fail to turn the motor over, or do you only hear one click when the key is turned? If you can hear the starter try to turn the motor over, then there is nothing wrong with the starting circuit, the problem would be low battery (most likely) or worn starter. You can eliminate the battery by trying a jump start the G from another vehicle. If it starts, your battery is probably just low and needs charging or you have a bad battery. If it won't turn over (with a jump) and it sounds like the starter is trying to engage, then the starter is worn. If the starter is not engaging at all, check the starter relay and neutral starter switch circuit. Got a new Mopar Group 27 just manufactured in Sept. Charged up and still will not turn over, although it does make a wimpy noise. Maybe neutral starter switch or some relay ? Any suggestions are very much appreciated. Thanks, Val Jeffers ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Yahoo! Autos.
