[Chrysler300] lower ball joint on 58D

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever seen the lower ball joint with a lock washer between it and the housing it screws into.  Just took mine off and there they were, lock washers under each lower ball joint.  Did not have them on the 58D coupe or 57C.
