WHEW, Finally back communicating with the World Anyway I tried to send this several weeks ago! Anyone have an 'original' auto-lite spark plug box that is Not for the early hemi spark plugs but is from the 50's time frame? I would be interested in its dimensions. I have an original Auto-lite box with 5 of the ceramic hemi spark plug boots in it. (still NOS) It is not the same size as the MOPAR/Auto-lite AR-52 box I have. It was theorized that Auto-lite boxed the ceramic boot (Only 6 to a box) because they already had the tooling for the spark plug boxes and didn't tool up a different size box. It has puzzled me why these are only boxed 6 to a box where a full set of 8 would outfit a early hemi. ALSO, For anyone that still has an early set of spark plug boots for their 331's: I do recall it being said that the plug wire for cylinder #1 had a red boot at the distributor end of the wire. Did or does it also have a ceramic spark plug boot with red lettering versus all the rest having black lettering?? ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Yahoo!
