You hooked up and adjusted the throttle linkage, I hope.Did you replace the pump bushing while it was apart?, sounds like you don,t have enough pressure because the either the pump has a problem or the throttle pressure valve isn't working. It would be best to hook up a pressure gauge and check for enough pressure, you'll smoke the friction elements in just a few miles if you run it that way.
