Hi to all,

Patiently waiting to receive your meet pictures from Dayton... right now,
Lindsey Fuller is the only person who has e-mailed me any.

Please e-mail me your pictures ASAP so that we may include them in the Web
site's "Events" section. We will be creating this pictorial account over
the
next few days and really need your contributions !

Please e-mail as many pictures as you can to me at: crossram@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
.
The more the better. JPEG format only, please, preferably unzipped.

Thanks

One of you recently notified us of the pics that you took and published on
your webspace. I thought I saved the address
but I apparently didn't and I ran across someone interested in seeing the
red and black 300C. Would you please send me
the website address?

Thanks.

Subject: J/K owners, please help

Hi,

I have removed the wiring under the hood of my ram K, and would like to
get
new battery cables and new insulation for the starter cable. It looks
like the
positive battery cable and the starter cable are one wire, with a bare
spot
where a relay (?) is clamped to it. Is this correct? If I get new
battery
cables, would the starter cable be a part of it? Would it also come with
new
insulation? Sorry, but I know very little about things electrical.

Thanks for any help.

George Clineman

A friend of mine was cited by the city he lives in for having too many
cars in his yard. The inspector he had to deal with, however, turns out
to be a car collector himself and showed my friend some mercy relative to
having them towed away (maybe this job is how he adds to his
collection??). In any case, the inspector asked my friend that since he
is a Chrysler enthusiast whether he had any leads for acquiring a set of
swivel seats that he could put in one of his cars. Anyone have something
they want to sell? It could help my friend in terms of how he is dealt
with in the future.
I still think cities have too much control of people's private property!
Thanks

Before I get a bad name, I sent the '62 300 instrument pod to Larri
Stumpf. I told him that I had gotten it out of a '62 that had just come
into the junkyard. I actually talked to the owner and he said it all
worked. I took his word for it. When I offered it to Larri for $75, I
told him that at some time I had taken one of the guages out. I did not
touch anything else on the pod. He stated that it was not a problem since
he had the guages already. He stated that what he really wanted was the
plastic piece that fits over the dome. I packed it up in doubled-up boxes
so it would not get damaged a long with some other rare b-body pieces,
equally cheap, and sent it out as soon as I recieved the money. I lost
money on the shipping charge, but didn't mention it--just absorbed it.
Larri called and said that a guage was missing--gee we went through that
when I offered it to him. He did not state any other problems with
anything else and was delighted with the rare b-body parts. Anyone who
knows me, knows that I have been ripped off by just about everyone leaving
a very bad taste in my mouth about the old car hobby. I will NOT do that
to anyone else!!! If anyone thinks I ripped them off, I will make it
right immediately! Larri did not ask for any money back. I hope that
clears my name. His problem with the other guy is something that has
happened to me dozens of time and I do not want to be put in that
category.

there used to be a couple on saturday nite live. i forget their first
names and who played the characters . but they were the whiners. i think
maybe larri is a first cousin. i propose that the club take donations and
buy his car off ebay and start a museum. maybe we could use john hertogs
back yard for a temporary home till more suitable quarters are found.
hopefully larry lives in the eastern US. as a matter of fact i will
volunteer to go get his car and tow it to its new home. how about it,
john? got room? pat grant

Hey, Pat... and all

I think this is a situation that cannot be resolved on the listserver, and
is best left alone, before it degenerates into a stupid argument...There
is
really nothing to say, in what amounts to private disagreements between
parties. An e-mail was already sent detailing what any member can do if
he
or she wishes to involve the Club, and complain officially about the
actions
of another member. This is covered in the Club's constitution. Any
further
discussions on the listserver would be inappropriate, and a waste of
everybody's time.

Let's all go back to what we do best - the preservation, restoration and
enjoyment of our Brutes !

Sincerely

John Hertog

I have a set of belts in my supercharged 300C that look near identical,
but
have different colour webbing. I can check the numbers on the white parts

tag on them to see if it is a match. And yes the two wire cables pass
through mount on floor.
