Oddvin,
>From my 300C Handbook pages:

FUEL  PUMP

The pump has "CARTER" embossed on its vertical sides. Other brands of
replacement pumps were also made but Carter is original equipment. The
model number is stamped on the mounting flange.

There are two correct fuel pumps. The early pump is Carter #M2503S
(Chrysler #1752461, w/ 3.5" diaphragm). The late pump with a notched
flange for block face clearance is Carter #M2610S (Chrysler #1843359 w/
3.5" diaphragm). Parts book form # D-16450 divides the pumps early from
late after 300C engine # 3NE57 2962.

Pump 2503 requires a threaded fuel inlet fitting. Pump 2610 has a
pressed-in inlet tube added. Both pumps take the same repair parts
package (Chrysler #1752558).

Carter replacement M2610S pumps of later manufacture did not have the
notch.

Wayne
