The Leece-Neville is a larger, heavy-duty alternator
used in applications that require heavy charging over
extended periods of idling. The most common use is on
Police and Highway Patrol cars with their extra lights
and radio equipment.

I have a 62 newport that the floors are rust out of .
I just brought the car yesterday so I haven't had time
to tare into it.I know the drive side is rusted and I
think the trunk is to.Is there a vendor out there that
makes replacement panels?
Or do I have to make them my self?

Any amonia based spray cleaner will work, Then scrub
with a soap pad like SOS or Brillo. Some well known
Amonia cleaners are Fantastic, 409, Spray Nine, Bleche
White (specifically for tires),Simple Green
(automotive)

Hi all:
In addition to all the good ideas put forth on this subject, I've found
that
if there is a stubborn stain that soap or bleach will not remove, soapy
water
and 1000 grit wet/dry sand paper will clean it up and leave a very smooth
finish. This cleans up yellowing white sidewalls very nicely.

I use WD-40 on my whitewalls as I wash my car and then I just wash the
WD-40
off the whitewalls. It works great.

Follow any of the instructions below and then hit the white walls with an
electric power spray if you own one. Melts the dirt away without harming
the
white wall.
Do not use gasoline power sprays. They are too powerful.

Subject: Temperature Control Valve
Hi all,
Can anyone please help me verify this one! I just bought a NOS A/C
heater control valve #1972-779 from a vendor in Georgia.
The box was marked with the right number but the valve itself is marked
#1972-776. The valve is brand new and has the correct coil and bracket
that goes into the Evaporator. I looked in my 61 parts book and it is
not a 61 parts number.
Does anyone know the year to this application? I just want to make sure
it will work. Could it be a superceded number?
