What about ultrasonic cleaning of the carb - If my memory serves me
correctly - some 35 years ago I saw it do a good job on some pretty
dirty metal. may be it also will do the same to a carb.

'59 Chrysler 300E $6500
I called & chatted to the fellas. They have not yet inspected the
undercarriage closely, but gave me the following info:
coupe - white w/ tan interior. 1-owner car w/ "perfect" (their word)
interior. 100% complete but stored for a long time. Not currently running
but engine & trans complete & matching. All power accessories. Body and
frame rust -- unsure yet of extent. Chicago-area car now in L.A. (Lower
Alabama).

Subject: All Chrysler Nationals (Formerly Chryslers at Carlisle)
Hi -
With thoughts of our Spring Meet in the air, I wanted to get an
early
start with you all concerning this year's Chrysler show at Carlisle. Last
year we had over 40 members show up, but only 13 cars. I am begging more
of
you to bring your cars this year, so we can have a decent turnout at one
of
the best run and best attended shows in the country.
Registering is so easy this year that it took me all of 3 minutes
to
raise the website and register. For $35.00 you get 3 days admission to
the
show for two people, and a space on the fun field (that's guaranteed
parking
with your friends). For those of you who may not have been to this show,
it
is the best in the East, and also has several hundred vendors who are
selling
nothing but MOPAR parts - no bow ties and no ovals - just MOPARS. Last
year
they had over 1200 cars on the field, and this year me be even bigger. I
am
hoping that we can get over 25 cars pre-registered
for the show, so they will have ample space for us, next to our tent.
To make it even easier, I am including a link directly to the site

PSST, keep this under your hats, BUT we have gotten 3-4 people per
car through the gates this way.

Sorry Pete, make that close to or over 1000 venders. (in my opinion).
Me thinks there are over 1200 vender spots set up.
In the mid-west, I hit maybe 12-20 swaps a year chasing parts.
Good parts for my car are Not Easy To Find. A good swap might
see 3 or 4 items to look at, Once I even bought 3 items, and felt
that it was well worth the trip.
The first year at Carlisle, I got to actually walk away from stuff.
(and yes, I spent the budget the first day, and had to go to the bank
Sat. Morning (close and much more reasonable then the on-site
money merchants).

Two questions for the group regarding the "C' model(and
perhaps the "D" also):
1. I'm looking for a dual line master brake cylinder. I
have heard that a Dart or similar Mopar small car cyl.
will fit nicely under the power brake bellows.
2. Where can I order replacement rubber (bushings, etc.)
for the front suspension?

Subject: Heater Valve
Hi All;
Was just wondering if anyone might have an extra vacume
Heater control valve for a 1969 or 1970 300 with air?
It's the valve on the Right inner fender that the heater
hose's connect to and it has a vacume line on top. If
anyone has an extra one and is going to thr RI meet,
please let me know. Thanks and we'll see everyone next
week in RI.
