Speaking of mirrors, did a 1955 C-300 come with any outside mirrors
standard, or were they extra cost options ?

Was there a right side available ?

I have one car with a driver's side mirror and another with none.

   Sean.

According to all literature I've seen they were not even available
although
either of the two correct Mopar mirrors could be put on by the dealer.
They
would work on both sides.

Chrysler thought you should spend your time looking forward and not back!!
ForwardLook you know!.

C300:

There were no factory mirrors for the C300. If you have a mirror -- it was

dealer installed. My son's C300 has a driver side mirror and seat belts as

shown on the original dealer paperwork.

P.S. Anyone have a C300 front bumper?

Hi And Happy New Year To All;
I just saw one of these at a local Flea Market yesterday
and thought I'd see if anyone else had seen them. What
it is , is a 1/18 scale Diecast 1956 Chrysler 300 B. The
car is made by Maistro and comes in RED or WHITE. It
looks pretty nice for the price (between $25 and $30), I
didn't take it out of the box so I don't know exactly
how detailed it really is, but like I said, it looked
pretty good for the money.
Also in a slightly unrelated subject. We are unable to
go to DAYTONA for the race in Feb. and I'm getting ready
to sell my tickets on Ebay but I figured I would offer
them to anyone in the club first that might be
interested. If anyone is interested please reply to me
directly.
Thanks and we'll see everyone in RI
Tom Kunkle

All,

I got my 300B models at Kaybee Toys for about $16 each, a red one and a
white one. They look nice on my display table in my office.

My C-300 has no mirrors. I have a nice drivers side mirror that
looks like it's from the 50's. My question is does anyone know some slick
way to mount a mirror so it can be removed for show? I'm not going to
drill holes if I don't have to. Thanks for any help. John Peabody Get

I noticed the announcement about the availability of wheel cover
medallions in the December issue of News-Flite.

The article mentions to check with the Club Store for prices, but I have
gone there and the prices are not listed. What gives?

Hi Bob, and all

There are no prices listed on the Club's Web site . That is intentional.
All Club Store items, and their prices, are listed on page 5 of the last
Club News issue, ( under " Club Store " ), or in any other Club News.
They are not listed in Newflites. 300 E/F and 300G/H/J wheelcover
medallions are $25 apiece, postpaid in the USA .

John

In regards to the Maisto 1:18 special edition 1956 Chrysler 300B, I had
bought mine at Menards Home Centers in the Midwest and they had all three
colors, Red, White and Black. At the time I purchased mine they had about
twenty-five in inventory.

IF they still have them in stock here, AND you are having a hard time
locating any in your area, I can get them for you. I seem to
remember a price tag approx $17.00. They had some left when we
strolled through for the "After Christmass" shopping spree.

You can also purchase them from Asheville DieCast for $18.50.
