I sent in an order and payment in early April and have not received
anything. I wasn't concerned until now because I have heard that he is
slow.

Candice and group.....
Speaking from a fair amount of experience with Gary, he always comes
through. I have never had a problem whatsoever with getting my
merchandise. Be patient and I am certain you will be very happy with the
product when you receive it.

George

Hi to all,
I finally decided to do something about my looseness in the steering wheel
and consulted my service manual for F and G.
Piece of cake, it's only to loosen the lock nut for the adjusting screw,
tighten until the backlash disappears and 11/4 additional turns.
Turn the shaft 180 degrees in each direction, start the engine loosening
the
adjusting screw until backlash is evident and retighten + 1/2 turn.
Great however I can't just simply get my hands belonging too 61/2 feet man
in their, should I also try to fit the required tools I have to convince
some one else in the household to assist, but having trouble find any
volunteers especially with the Brute on idle!!! Any ideas or suggestions?

It appears that a virus managed to sneak past my anti-virus software and
has tried to mail itself to everyone on my list. It's called
W32/Klez.h@MM. I don't know how it snuck into my computer 'cuz I thought
I was up-to-date with my software. My sincere apologies.

Hi Carl,

My only comment about "looseness" in the steering wheel is that the origin
of it is usually deterioration of the steering shaft rubber coupling where
the shaft mates to the steering box. If this part has never been replaced
on your car, it's time. The part itself is available thru Gary Goers .
Replacing it entails pulling off the steering wheel and then the steering
tube ( don't forget to remove the turn signal cancelling switch! ) to
access the shaft where it meets the box.

If the play is, indeed, in your box (in my opinion these are best left
alone... ) then perhaps a steering box rebuild is in order. But I do
think
that the factory adjustement should never have to be tampered with .

Any comments, list ?

John

Gary has always responded very promptly to me through emails, and you
should make an effort to contact him directly. Getting him on the phone
is a
bit tougher, but he's almost always responded the very same day when I
email him.

Hello

I live in Nashua NH, and I have a black vinyl front bench seat out of a
1968
300 that I would like to get rid of. It is
in good shape. I am cleaning out my storage area, and I would hate to
throw
it away. It is free to anyone
who wants to come and get it. My storage area is only about 5 minutes from
a
major highway, and easy to find.
If possible, could you pass this info along ?

Thanks

Andrew Patterson
