Well...method of last resort.. If you have a welder take a lug nut and pound it onto the lug. If it won't fit find the right size nut that has a slightly smaller hole for the stud. A metric lug nut of the appropriate size should be slightly smaller and work. Then weld it in place. This will give you the flats to get a wrench on it. Doesn't have to be a pretty weld and it doesn't matter what kind of welder. The limited heat should save the drum. Weld just has to be strong enough to handle you prying on it. Good luck! forget left is left handed. 2nd option, cut grove parallel with stud just above
threads, insert a wood chisel into cut and drive with a hammer. It might split
or spread enough to remove. Wood chisel has low taper to fit into saw cut. 3rd
option, junk the car, sorry.

Appears that I will need a front brake drum for my 57 Dodge
Coronet D-500. The previous owner rounded the lug nuts to the point that
they are impossible to remove and cutting or burning off the lugs will probably
ruin the drum. Have tried everything (previous texts) but ended up
removing the wheel, drum and all.
