I was disappointed upon going to toys r us to get models and glue to work on with my son... no longer sold. Finally found that Michael's sells everything we had as kids (I'm 38) ... more disappointing was the attitude of 2 toys R us employees... stating how hazardous building model cars is, and any good parent wouldn't want their kids doing that.. doing what? Learning dexterity, precision, art, mechanical components, responsibility working with chemicals??? This is why kids are eating tide pods and marching in the streets.. no chemicals, no hurt feelings, poor parenting in teaching you need zero accountability in today's liberally indoctrinated society. It's sad kids can't be kids and be given the opportunity to learn both hands-on and cognitively.. Well, I found recently that they also don't carry the glue either, you have to buy it online and have it delivered to your nearest Wal-Mart. :/

I went to the local Super Wal-Mart to pick up a model car for my grandson, who just turned ten, as I thought it would be a good way to turn hm onto the Mopar car culture that grandpa has always enjoyed. Building model cars/ tanks/ airplanes/ etc was a part of my youth and a good way to find how things go together. --
