That's a torqueflite Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone -------- Original message -------- From: Daniel Davids <ddavids@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: 1/16/18 8:47 PM (GMT-05:00) To: L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [FWDLK] Powerflite/Torqueflite question It is air-cooled (no provision for cooling lines to radiator), and it came with a bell housing with mesh vent screens. Its torque converter has fins on the outside, presumably to dissipate heat to the air that comes in through the bell housing vents. How can I tell if it is a Powerflite or a Torqueflite? What years did Chrysler make air-cooled automatics? (2 or 3 speed) Here’s a photo.
