Back to the original question, I think, the part number for the two gang
power window switch, less bezel, is 1622374, all makes, ‘55 and ‘56. With
bezel, # 1622421. Maybe one of the guys who sells NOS parts might have one; Len
Dawson, Atlas Obsolete, Andy Bernbaum, etc.
There were some models which either didn’t have moveable windows [business
coupes] or had horizontal sliding windows [two door station wagons]. I
suppose if someone really wanted one of these low line models with power windows
it would have to be front windows only. Maybe in ‘57-‘58-‘59 those few
used ‘56 switches? But seriously, what percentage of bottom feeders who
bought painfully plain Plymouth Plaza business coupes wanted power
windows? My ol’ maid aunt [oops, ‘career girl] ordered a ‘57 Plaza
business coupe with fixed rear windows and the optional back seat, which I
thought was strange and suspected she wanted us brats in the back to be starved
for air so we’d keep still. Ah, the good ol’ days!

Switch Bezel
So if that is true, what is the part number for a
'gang-of-two' switch ? Why isn't it in the parts book ? How come no one has ever
seen one ?
As I mentioned, the build sheets were most likely printed
well in advance of production. The idea likely was killed prior to production
gearing up for the 57s.

And, here's the 1957 Dodge Broadcast Sheet.
There was
a 57 Club Coupe that was featured on the website
which had two power
windows on it, a while ago.
Two powered windows (on Club Coupes and
2-dr Suburbans)
was definitely available in 1957.

Neil,
I can't say one way or another how they came, but look at the attached
photo of the 1957 Dodge order form. The dealer would have to have some
inside knowledge to know what checking box 385 was going to give him.
I also have a Dodge Options ands Accessories price bulletin dated
October 30,1956. It lists the 4 window power lift ( All except 2-Door
Suburban ) and the tailgate window lift ( Two Seat Wagons only ) as being
available. No 2 window power lift is offered in it.
