Johan, we've established that my car is too expensive for you, but, as you have been searching for a 57-58 Dodge for many years, now, what is your price and condition range? Drivable; rusty; needs restoration? Back in the early 90's, I was told that my $11,000.00 asking price was too high, on my car. Our cars' values are not going down, and the supply of original/barn-find cars is dwindling...and they're not cheap, when they DO surface....especially, the 'fancy' ones. Back in 1980, I paid $3,200.00 for a #3 driver-condition car, which, today would calculate to around $15-$17.5K, and, I financed $2,750.00 of that purchase price!
