Interestingly I have a few packages of genuine MoPar valve extensions part no 3461079 which I was thinking of putting up on epay. Think they would be considered a ¾ inch extension. Got quite a few somewhere but just stumbled onto 3 sets recently.

59 still uses 5/8" but my 61 Chrysler has the 1/2" I'm pretty sure.. so possibly transitioned in 1960 or during that year

Anyone know what year MOTHER MOPAR  no longer used the large dia valve

stems on their rims (5/8")

and went to the smaller diameter stem (1/2") that is still used
