Let me comment.
If you turn to page 16 and 17 of my NY Times best selling non-fiction book " 1957 Plymouth Fury Restorer's Guide" you will find full page pictures of each carburetor and a description of the brass tags.
The Front is WCFB # 2631S. The rear is WCFB # 2632S. The brass tag also provides the date of production. In the case of the referenced carburetors the date code is D7 which was also the month of production of the referenced vehicle. This indicates an extremely short pipeline from Carter to the Mound Road Engine Plant in Detroit before the short ( 2 mile ) ride over to Lynch Road Assembly.
And while on the subject be aware that the Fury 318 engine is a different build than the standard 318. It carries the block stamp of FP-31. But that is a story from another chapter.
Incidentally the Lynch Road Assembly is still standing but Mound Road Engine is but a memory.

That is correct, the back carb with choke, the front without.

Yep, that's what I recall, too. The Standard Catalog of Chrysler 1924-1990 stated the two carbs of the same number were used. It's the only printed reference I could find, but I think you're correct. Mark? John? Other 57 Fury owners?

They actually use a 2631S and a 2632S
