Re: [FWDLK] HELP!

Hi All,

I scavenged an old home/office ozone air cleaner from work last week. I ran it on full in my Caddy for about 5 hours today. It was smelling pretty musty as it is outside, it leaks (of course -- it's a convertible) an I have not driven it in 18 months.

All smells are now gone!  It even neutralized the "That New Car Smell" spray.  No musty smell, no smoke smell, no old car smell, nada. Worth trying.

I'll be doing the DeSoto and some point if I can find which garage it's parked in. (yeah, I misplaced it. Long story)

Contact a fire/flood restoration company and see if you can rent an ozone generator.   They are the best at getting rid of those kind of smells and donâ??t harm anything in the car.  They use them in detailing to remove smoke/body odor smells from vehicles.  Check out Google for some more info:  https://www.google.com/search?q=ozone+generator+smells+car

Subject: [FWDLK] HELP!

I've been away for the past two months, sponging off of my daughter, in Phoenix.

When I returned home, I opened the trunk of my Chrysler, which was in a heated garage, and discovered that mice had taken up residence, and that at least one had died.  The smell was as you would have expected.

Does anyone have any suggestions for odor control?  All I can think of right now is to get it outside and open the windows.  I'm not sure that I even want to get into it for that long!

I'll be waiting for suggestions....
