Asymmetrical arms are indeed, the best way to go. This keeps the heaviest (engine) end better supported. Less Tetter-totter worries. My lift also came with exchangeable posts for the pads the frame sits on. The arms have holes in the ends for the pads, which can be dropped directly onto the arms, or you can add a 1 1/2" extension to lift up the pad. There is also a 5" extension and you can use that for trucks and can combine both of them if you want to really lift up the pad for high clearance frames. There is also a safety wire across the top to prevent you from hitting the roof of the vehicle on the crossover. Ray
