Thanx everybody.  Ended up using push nuts as I was worried about any
excess glue taking the black paint off the back of George Laurie’s beautiful
plastic insert reproductions.  They look great and are solidly
affixed.
PS—FYI, I got the chrome C pillar emblem bezels and 24 carat gold plated
“Sportsman” script years ago from a forgotten vendor.  The chrome is great
but the Sportsman script is 1/4” shorter and requires some careful
redrilling.  Just sayin’... if anyone’s buying, be careful.
3M plastic and emblem adhesive works well for many of
these jobs. Dick

I’m ready to attach the plastic inserts to the new chrome bezels.  The
factory melted the plastic tabs, but I’m worried that I’ll melt the nice new
plastic inserts.

Suggestions?  Glue?
