Re: [FWDLK] Wanted

I bought a Moroso catch can for my '57 Plymouth and mounted it to the right side of the radiator support (opposite side of the battery tray location). It's black so you don't really notice it, it has a petcock to drain any sludgy crap that may accumulate, the only modification to make it a legit overflow so it will suck back into the radiator is we installed a piece of 5/16" or 3/8" (I can't remember) line into the top brass screw in fitting that goes into the bottom of the tank so it can recover. Its a very neat, clean, unnoticeable installation which I'm sure you are looking for. I will send some pics in a second email.

Hi:

I just came back from Carlisle and I saw a MoPar that hooked the radiator overflow to a Coke bottle that was held in place with plastic strips.

some late 70's / early 80's mopars (don't remember which model) used a plastic battery cover with an overflow tank built in. I've used them in the past because they just slide over your battery which makes them simple to install with no holes to be drilled.

NAPA sells a kit and so dose any hot rod shop, depending if you and to hide the overflow tank or not. That will point the way to the one that will work for you.
I have seen the aluminum tank in a cylinder shape that would be easy to conceal, or just a plastic tank you mount on the fender liner....

Hi all, I'm looking to install a radiator overflow system in my 1959 Plymouth.  Any ideas on what and / or where?
