This car is much more than just a carrier of Spring Special trim
(which was expressly made available as being able to be installed, on a
piecemeal basis, to the customer's desire, at any dealership).

This car is actually a 'real' dedicated factory Spring Special model, as 
it is painted in
one of the three Spring Special colors, "Poppy Red"--or is it "Paris 
Rose"?--
and it has the unique Spring Special interior colors, too.

Not many full-on Spring Specials have survived. Many 58's were built having
only a portion of all the S.S.-trim being installed in them, and this 
guy has the
whole 9-yards of S.-S. finishing on it.

If nothing else, it's P/T plate and VIN tag could be liberated and used 
on a donor
car, to restore this car('s appearance).

It's definitely worth saving.
