Well if T3's weren't used on the cars they were used as replacements, these mount panels were new in the box with T3 headlights in them.

T3 headlights came out in 1956. I had them on my 56 Oldsmobile. They are a Delco 
(GM) product. I doubt they were ever OEM on a Mopar. 

My 56 Dodge still has the original AutoLite headlights. They work great and are 
still very bright. Much better than T3s. Too bad they are no longer made.
