interesting.... there was a 58 eldorado that would come out to my cruise night in NJ- it was supposedly owned by a pastor originally- and members of the parish felt the fins were somehow insulting [or something along those lines] so he had them professionally removed in the early 60s... the car wore original paint- exc for the upper qtrs where the fins were removed- this wasnt the deville body- but the more bullet-like biarritz body-
