Another brake option, as Roger Van Hoy mentioned and as I have done
to/on my own car,
is to score some 11x 3" front Bendix Duo-Servo brakes (complete with
steering knuckles and
backing plates) ; they are a bolt-on deal; as per my own tutorial in the
WPC News' "Fix-It'
issue, of 3/87 (how time flyes--).
Any 63-64 Chrysler will have these guys on them.---Just be certain that
the brake drums are
'turnable'.
For the rear brakes, you don't need to find the 11 x3" drums (from the
mid-late 60's), as the
11x 2 1/2" drums (which are seemingly universal, in the 60's) work just
fine.
My Follow up How-to article, on the rear brakes' installation, is seen
in the 10/90 WPC News
issue, and it, too, is a relatively simple procedure.
Firm Feel stocks pre-done 11 x 3" brake shoes, but may have to receive
your 11 x 2 1/2"
assemblies in order to replace their linings.

*Can a later model 904 or 727 be mated to a 325? Which also makes me
wonder can newer style rear backing plates and emer. brakes be used in
the FL cars? *

*Want to keep original engine, which may have a spun bearing, but not
too worried about the trans and rear, or at least brakes. *
