JC Whitney still has the real tool though, at least one that other people have said works. It's $5.99. You use the narrow end.

My recommendation is to fabricate the tool based on the illustration in the 57-8 Plymouth shop manual. It's the best alternative to the original pliers-type tool (KD435), which is no longer available and hard to find.
