Same with me, although without the freezing aspect. My main problem
is that on some of the cans, can't remember the brand right now, the stem
of the nozzle can break off in the opening of the can. Even though
I can fish it out, it is smaller than any other modern nozzle I have
found. Some day I will no longer have another old can to rob
from.

Hi,
I'm getting a kick out of watching the depth of the discussion around
aerosol paint cans! For what its worth, I have some paint cans that
are older than my wife and I keep them standing up on a shelf in the
garage where the temperature frequently falls well below freezing in the
winter. I always made sure to thoroughly clean the nozzle when I'm
finished using them and I shake the heck out of them before I use them
the next time. I have to admit, it has always surprised me that
they continue to work effectively.

- Assuming that you have good electrical connections, you should get a
- variable voltage by moving the float up and down. There are
shops that will

through stacks

- Since one doesn't know what the precise orientation of the internal

- wouldn't it be best to store aerosol cans upside-down???
- That tube is the reason why a can is help upside-down, when the can
is
- sprayed, to clear-out
- its plumbing, for storage purposes.

- no matter what position its stored in, the solids will settle, along
with the agitator.... it will all mix again... upside down sounds good-
but i can imaging more convolutions of the top structure may retain mor
solids than the smooth sides of the can, or the convex bottom...
- like john said, always flip and blow out the tube- actually- that
said- prob best to store it right side up as to not clog the valve with
solids that can settle- they'll never mox up, and will be more compressed
the first time you try to release pressure...
- forwardlook cans!!? i dont think i've ever given this much thought to
