Re: [FWDLK] Estimate on basic electrical wiring

i have to start raising my prices!

i'm not a fan of painless harnesses and the like... i make my harnesses when needed, with most correct connectors when available, and have NOS cloth wiring in many colors for the older crowd... though nothing beats an unmolested factory harness.
i have 3 mint 58 harnesses but not exactly willing to part with them just yet, as i have several in line for resto.

for people in the NJ proximity:
all my work is usually by private referral or overseas customers, but i'll extend to the list now, i should have openings starting next spring, 3 customers and at least 4 of my own to do on "my" schedule!
driveline builds- engines, transmissions from stock to full race, chassis modifications, all aspects of body resto/fab, stock to full flake paint, interiors, exhausts custom bent] my only outsourcing is block boring/line honing, crankshaft cutting/polishing/balancing, and major head port work on some applications.
i only have 2 rotisserie restos underway beside my personal cars, and dont plan on taking any extensive/frame-off jobs until the economy recovers, for the sake of both parties.

some of you already know me as JRestorations, the only supplier of aftermarket sport tone inserts in the 58 waffle pattern [embossed mylar] gold/silver still available in limited quantities, door panel mylar inserts also available in waffle and diamond patterns.
57-59 plymouth specialties, all other forwardlook era cars and generally all US cars to 1970s accepted, only foreign cars accepted are P and PV series volvos.

Subject: [FWDLK] Estimate on basic electrical wiring

Hi Everyone!

I am looking for an estimate on basic electrical wiring for a 57 - 58 Plymouth.  By basic wiring I mean the essentials: driving lights, horn, signal lights, brake lights, windshield wipers. Around what price range would this service be?  Someone please let me know.  I don't have a clue as to what's is fair or not.  What about a paint job?  What should this price be?  I just want it to look in good condition job not showroom job.  Thanks.

Clueless and Hopeful,
Kelly
