If Danny's state requires a annual safety check of his
car, the law is what is going to prevent him from driving it.
Whether there is a safety check or not, the car was
designed to have one and good common sense safety says we all should
have a functioning back up emergency /parking brake in our vehicle of
any era. Not just for our selves but for our passengers which may
include our wives and family and friends as well as others on the roads around
us. Those aren't likely all brand new wheel cylinders and 100% new
steel lines on our chassis.

Hey Danny,
How the heck does the lack of a parking
brake prevent you from driving the car? Is it hilly where you
live? Carry a chock to throw under a tire if you have to park it.
I drove my '58 Windsor for years without reverse and a dodgy
ATF-soaked parking
brake.

[FWDLK] Parking Brake For My 1960 Dodge Phoenix
Hello
Everyone,
It is has been a while since I have been able to get on
here. I am finally able to afford to start working on my Dodge.
The only thing that is keeping me off the road is a parking brake. Does
anyone know where I can get a parking brake assembly? Someone had one
before, but I could not afford it at that time. I hope I am able to get
one because I would love to be able to start driving it!
Thanks So
Much,
Danny
P.S. Also if anyone knows of anywhere that I
may be able to find a trunk lid, or other body parts for it, I would greatly
appreciate that info!!!
