Steve - There are only two ports on this fuel pump, so no return line involved. Can someone check a '62 or later parts book for 2279913, fuel pump for 318 engine, to see if it's for a/c only cars ? Adding the return line helped withvapor lock. I don't know if you can seal up the return line from an a/c pumpand have it still work properly. Steve B. **The parts book lists different fuel pump part numbers for cars with air **conditioning and without. Why would that be, and what would happen if **you **put an a/c fuel pump on a car without a/c ? ** **I recently bought a NOS fuel pump for my 58 Ply, but it turns out to be **for **a/c cars. ** **Thanks, ** **Ron ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go tohttp://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1 ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1
