Yeah, take it from me, gloss is not the way to go, of course, 15 years ago I
had no clue what I was doing and just painted it. I actually keep a towel
with me to throw on the dash when the glare gets bad. But it hasn't been
annoying enough to make me pull the dash out and re-paint it.
