Just a reminder that you can find the application for many numbers
including this one at WWW.NOSMOPAR.COM or WWW.CollectorsAutoSupply.com
<WWW.NOSMOPAR.COM>
Go to the "Parts Department" and then "Look Up A Number" <WWW.NOSMOPAR.COM>
The site shows "P 57 W/ PREFIX “P” ON ENG, 58-60; D 57-60; DS 57 F’SWP"
This means it is for a few 57-60 Plymouth, Dodge and Desoto models.

I bought a MoPar vacuum advance on the Evil pay, recently.
As seen in the attached pic, it was long-ago (apparently) written down
as being
for a 57 D500.
I bought it, as it was cheap, even though its P/N is not shown in my
1955-1958 parts book.
Dave Homstad suggested that this guy might be for a truck, which would
not have listings in the
55-58 car-parts book.
Does anyone have access to a '58 (apparently, from its P/N) truck parts
book, and/or any thoughts
on its cross-usage on a particular car's application?
The cast-in number, on the V.A.'s control arm, is "13" .
Thanks,
Neil Vedder
