Is this stud spot welded into the unit body or is it an actual removable
part? You may need to take the car to a competent welding/machine shop
(if there is one left anymore) and have them do what is needed to replace
the stud. It won't be cheap but it may be the only way. No one can help, and most do not even have an idea what I'm talking about. After almost 50 years in the Rustbelt, it was time to change the shocks and the stud bolts were rusted solid, and broke right off. Since these go through an opening in the trunk (where the floor goes up over the axle) and provide the top bolt for shocks, I thought somewhere would have them, but the closest I can find are for Corvettes or Mustangs. Do other Chryslers have these? Any ideas? Anyone? ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options,
