When I need bolts like that I just go to the fastener specialty place that
stocks pretty much nothing but bolts and nuts, and take as much of the old
one as I have left to compare to. No one except maybe the dealer stocks
front brake hose retainers for my O/T Chevy Suburban - a couple of big bolts
have worked just fine the last three years, with the added benefit you might
actually be able to get them off without destroying them if you ever have
to.

No onecan help, and most do not even have an idea what I'm talking about. Afteralmost 50 years in the Rustbelt, it was time to change the shocks and the stud bolts were rusted solid, and broke right off. Since these go through an opening in the trunk (where the floor goes up over the axle) and provide the top bolt for shocks, I thought somewhere would have them, but the closest I can find arefor Corvettes or Mustangs. Do other Chryslers have these? Any ideas? Anyone? Thanks, Larry (Akron 55 degrees today, with snow showers tomorrow) ************** Worried about job security?
